Abstract

Memanfaatkan mobilitas beberapa komponen jaringan baru-baru ini dilaporkan sebagai salah satu pendekatan yang paling menjanjikan untuk meningkatkan kinerja jaringan sensor nirkabel (WSN) dalam hal metrik penting seperti masa pakai dan latensi data. Teknik Pergerakan Node Terkendali Berbasis Energi diusulkan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengatur mobilitas node sensor (EBCNM). EBCNM mencoba untuk menggeser node untuk mencapai keseimbangan energi dan beban di seluruh node, memperpanjang masa pakai jaringan. Menggunakan simulator jaringan NS2, kinerja EBCNM diuji dan dibandingkan dengan node statis dan gerakan node acak. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan masa pakai jaringan sebesar 31 persen hingga 120 persen dan peningkatan rasio pengiriman paket sebesar 43 persen hingga 115 persen.
